ABOUT POTOMAC FIELD HOCKEY

Potomac Field Hockey is located in the Northern Virginia area, serving hockey players primarily in Loudoun County, Virginia.  PFH is a member club with USA Field Hockey (USAFH). Our mission is to promote, teach, and grow the sport of field hockey through our various programming that we offer throughout the year:

• Rec Leagues (Fall, Winter and Spring)

• Evolution Program

• Hammers Travel Program (Formerly known as Rapids Travel)

Our league is funded entirely by registration fees, equipment profits, and sponsor donations, and is operated by many volunteers.  Thank you to all of you who make this league what it is!

   • Our lead coaches are college and high school head coaches who develop a program-wide curriculum and training techniques.

   • They are positive coaches who are excellent with communication with players and families.

3. PFH is FIELD HOCKEY DEVELOPMENT

   • We provide programs at all skill and age levels with Travel and Recreational programs starting at Pre-K.

   • We provide Evolution program to develop the next generation of travel players.

   • We provide a robust goalie training program.

4. PFH is CARING

   • We are a family/community that succeeds with active involvement off its players, coaches and parents.

   • We do not turn away a player due to financial considerations.

   • Safety is primary concern in all decisions that we make
